Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 7, 2026

Welcome to the C&C Companionship website, located at christandcompanion.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of this website.

By accessing or using this website, submitting an inquiry, or requesting information about our services, you acknowledge these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.

1. About C&C Companionship

C&C Companionship provides faith-rooted, non-medical companionship and personal support services.

Depending on availability and the terms of an individual service agreement, services may include:

  • Senior Companionship
  • Teen Support & Mentorship
  • Family Support
  • Childcare Assistance
  • Life Coaching & Life Navigation

Specific support activities may include companionship, encouragement, recreational or community activities, transportation assistance, everyday practical support, and faith-based encouragement when requested.

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes. The availability, suitability, schedule, and exact scope of services will be confirmed directly with each client before services begin.

2. Non-Medical Services

C&C Companionship is not a medical provider, nursing service, emergency-response service, mental-health provider, or substitute for professional medical or mental-health care.

Our companions do not diagnose medical conditions, provide medical treatment, perform skilled-nursing services, administer medical care, or provide medical advice.

Life coaching, mentorship, encouragement, and life-navigation services are intended to provide general support, goal-setting assistance, accountability, practical guidance, and encouragement. These services are not psychotherapy, mental-health treatment, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or other licensed professional services.

If you or another person may be experiencing a medical, mental-health, safety, or other emergency, call 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service immediately. Do not use this website or its contact form to request emergency assistance.

3. Separate Service Agreement

Using this website or submitting an inquiry does not create a caregiver-client, provider-client, employment, or other professional relationship.

Before services begin, the responsible client, parent, guardian, or authorized representative may be required to complete intake documents and sign a separate service agreement.

That agreement may address:

  • Selected services and schedules
  • Rates and payment terms
  • Cancellation and rescheduling policies
  • Transportation authorization
  • Emergency contacts
  • Allergies, dietary needs, and relevant safety information
  • Child or teen pickup authorization
  • Household rules and access
  • Responsibilities of each party
  • Other requirements appropriate to the services being provided

If these website Terms conflict with a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement will control regarding the services covered by that agreement.

4. Children and Teenagers

This website is intended for adults. Individuals under 18 should not submit personal information, schedule services, or enter into an agreement through the website without the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Services involving children or teenagers must be arranged by a parent, legal guardian, or other properly authorized adult.

C&C Companionship may require identification, emergency contacts, approved pickup information, relevant allergy or safety information, transportation authorization, and other written authorization before providing services.

Parents, guardians, and other authorized adults are responsible for providing complete and accurate information concerning the child or teenager and for promptly communicating changes that could affect the safety or provision of services.

The availability and scope of Childcare Assistance will depend on the individual circumstances, applicable requirements, and the terms of the applicable service agreement.

5. Faith-Based Support

C&C Companionship is rooted in Christian values of compassion, service, dignity, and care.

Prayer, Scripture, or other faith-centered encouragement may be incorporated into services when requested or authorized and when appropriate to the individual receiving support.

Faith-based support is not medical, psychological, or professional counseling.

Clients may decline participation in prayer, Scripture, religious activities, or faith-centered conversations without losing access to otherwise available services.

6. Service Requests and Availability

Submitting a contact form, requesting an appointment, or otherwise communicating with C&C Companionship does not guarantee that services will be available or accepted.

C&C Companionship may decline or discontinue a requested service when:

  • The requested service is outside our approved scope;
  • Appropriate personnel are unavailable;
  • The environment or requested activity presents an unreasonable health or safety concern;
  • Required information, consent, or authorization has not been provided;
  • Payment obligations have not been satisfied; or
  • Continuing the service would violate applicable law, policy, or a signed agreement.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate scheduling changes and service limitations.

7. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Rates, deposits, payment deadlines, cancellation charges, and refund eligibility will be disclosed before services begin or stated in the applicable service agreement.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, information displayed on this website does not constitute a binding price quote.

Prices and service offerings may change. Changes will not alter an already signed agreement except as permitted by that agreement or applicable law.

8. Transportation and Community Activities

Transportation, errands, outings, and community activities are available only when specifically arranged, approved, and authorized.

Clients, parents, guardians, or other authorized representatives must provide accurate information regarding mobility needs, approved destinations, pickup and drop-off arrangements, safety requirements, emergency contacts, and other information reasonably necessary to provide the requested service safely.

Transportation involving children or teenagers may require specific written authorization, approved pickup and drop-off information, and other documentation before transportation is provided.

Additional transportation rules, limitations, authorizations, or requirements may be included in the applicable service agreement or transportation authorization form.

9. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when contacting C&C Companionship or requesting services.

You must not knowingly omit information that could reasonably affect the health or safety of a client, companion, child, teenager, household member, or member of the public.

You are responsible for notifying C&C Companionship when relevant information changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived, disputes concerning these website Terms may be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Knox County, Tennessee.
